What is Wax Gel?

Wax Gel is a transparent material for candle making, made from a mixture of mineral oils and polymers. After melting and pouring into a suitable container, it maintains its clear and transparent appearance.

It is especially recommended for candles in glass containers, where the transparency of the gel can be highlighted.

You can make simple candles or combine the gel with different colors and effects to create original designs.

How to use gel wax?

Heat the Wax Gel gradually until it becomes completely liquid and homogeneous. The recommended working temperature is approximately 90–95°C.

Avoid direct heating over a flame and constantly monitor the temperature during the melting process.

Adding fragrance

To make scented gel candles, use only fragrance oils compatible with Wax Gel.

Fragrance can be added at around 85–90°C. Mix slowly and evenly to avoid introducing excessive air into the gel.

The optimal amount of fragrance should be determined through testing, depending on the fragrance used and the characteristics of the candle.

Coloring Wax Gel

To maintain transparency, it is recommended to use transparent dyes compatible with gel wax.

Use small amounts of dye. Too high a concentration can reduce the transparency and crystalline effect of the candle.

Pouring into container

The approximate pouring temperature is about 85–90°C.

Pour the gel slowly into the container to limit air bubble formation. After pouring, let the candle cool naturally and avoid moving the container until the gel stabilizes.
